Rise Sales & Arrival Precinct
Logan Reserve, Queensland
Commercial
Creating the arrival experience for the Rise community required a vision that aligned with the idea of Relaxed Luxury. The importance of generous open space, connection to green landscape and opportunities to meet and connect with your neighbours were central to the success of the Sales and Arrival precinct. Use of the claimed windmill from the site also became a feature marker and identity upon arrival.

Linking of three built forms at the entry being, the Sales & Welcome building, office spaces for the Halcyon team, the residents Mail House and Walrus Community Space linked together in architectural form, scale and urban design. Using features and materials that were warm and inviting yet also linked to the surrounding houses was key to embedding these buildings into this new community.
Use of Gable roof forms and opening to frame views was a crucial architectural decision and one that links this precinct to the leisure precinct at the end of the boulevard. The Sales building was specifically orientated to address the main entry but also frame the green, tree lined boulevard to the Rise Country Club.
