The community facilities were designed to reflect the nature of traditional farmhouses, which was simple form and construction methodology and off axis unique placements. The spaces are oriented to enhance shared experiences and iconic views of the site including Mt Ninderry and the dam.

DC8 Studio’s architectural response integrates the rewilded connection to green, the existing farm building and recycled materials ensuring a cohesive re-wilded and sustainable design approach capturing the essence of Yandina.
