Vision is a gated waterfront community designed under the Halcyon banner of over 50’s lifestyle living. This project is located on canal frontage and is currently a premium offering in the Halcyon range. The communities created by Halcyon are amongst the most awarded in the country for active seniors, and as such have a vibrancy of activity and streetscape.

Our work on Vision was guided by a project language called Exuberance inspired by the Gold Coast location and the work of Burle Marx, a Brazilian landscape architect. Working with Verge Landscape Architecture, our aim was to create an integrated outcome from interiors to landscape. Between the individual house and community leisure facilities, which are viewed as an extension of the home, the project offers a range of individual and public space with appropriate and varying levels of privacy and community.
