Dales Community Clubhouse

Beerwah, Queensland

Interior Design

Dales, sitting at the base of the Queensland’s iconic Glasshouse Mountains, with a stunning setting of lush tropical surrounds, nestled between two creeks. Beautiful Beerwah, a quaint country town, a short distance from the Sunshine Coast. DC8 Studio were engaged to work alongside Jared Poole Design Architect’s to cohesively merge the Interiors with the Architecture.

The double story Clubhouse described as “Modern Queenslander” The Architects vision referenced a grand plantation home. Providing visual harmony, the Interior Design direction was “Crafted Queenslander”.

The key elements being a modern take on the traditional Queenslander. Layered and filtered, natural elements with soft & bold blues balanced with crisp clean white. Vertical and batten details create the illusion of height in what is essentially a condensed ceiling. Blue evokes a sense of clam, whilst the texture adds depth and nuance to the overall picture. Achieved by conscientiously blending colour, form and function, taking into consideration how each element works together holistically.
