Arbour on Grey QLD

The Arbour On Grey mixed use development is located between Grey St and Little Stanley St at South Bank. The precinct is now Brisbane’s number one eating and entertainment destination. The site is approximately 400 metres long and 25 metres wide with retail and public amenities located at street level topped by three levels of apartments. At street level, the building plan is articulated in various ways to break up the length and bulk of the building facade and to create outdoor dining opportunities. Two major design drivers behind Arbour On Grey was, on the one hand, to create a vibrant and diverse urban environment forming a distinct edge to South Bank Parklands and, on the other hand, to reinforce Grey Street as a major urban boulevard.

DC8 Studio were further involved in the 2014 refurbishment of the ground floor retail areas, extending awnings to create additional outdoor dining, and refurbishing the public amenities.
